– Tsakhkadzor a popular ski and health resort. In winter, the town becomes a major ski center in Armenia, Tsaghkadzor is translated from Armenian as “valley of flowers”. You can rent all necessary equipment to have a wonderful day of skiing. For those of you who are not skiing, there is a cable car to enjoy fascinating views on Teghenis Mountains and breathe fresh air of alpine mountains.

– Sergei Parajanov is one of the 20th century’s greatest masters of cinema. In the 1960s he made two masterpieces in a row: Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors (1964) and The Color of Pomegranates (1969). Both established him as a phenomenon with no analogy in the art world.
