Tour in Georgia 11 Days-10 Nights

Day 1: Tbilisi (arrival).
Arrival in Tbilisi international airport. Meeting with company representative. Transfer to Tbilisi hotel. Check in and overnight.

Day 2: Tbilisi (city tour).
After breakfast at the hotel, have Tbilisi tour. Tour includes following sights: Tbilisi Sameba Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the Caucasus, Metekhi Church is erected on the cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari River. The colorful Darejani Palace is also situated on the cliff, like the nest of a swallow. The Sulfur Baths are located in Old Tbilisi, on the other side of the river, opposite Darejani Palace. Narikala fortress, established in the fourth century. Visit Karvasla - a multi - storey building located in the district of Old Tbilisi. Here you’ll find also local shops of Georgian souvenirs and craft shops. Then continue tour by visiting Shardeni street with its fashionable, cozy cafes and art galleries, passing along the Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica. Visit famous Bridge of Peace. Finally, the tour takes you to Rustaveli Avenue, where attractions such as the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet theatre, the Parliament, Rustaveli Theatre, different art galleries and cafes will draw your attention and provide a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Tbilisi – Mtskheta.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mtatsminda amusement park. Lift there by cable way. Then drive to Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage Site), the ancient capital of Georgia - early kingdom of Iberia. Inhabited since before 1000 BC it was religious centre of the country. Visit Jvari Church – 6th century monastery. It was built on a hill overlooking the confluence of the two rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi. Then have time for shopping. Transfer and overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi – Ananuri - Gudauri.
Today we drive to Gudauri, mountain region of the country. On the way, we pass Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir of amazing beauty. Stop and see different local hand made things (thick felt, embroidery, iconographic painting). A stunning drive along the Tergi River will bring us to Gudauri, Georgian ski resort. Overnight in Gudauri.

Day 5: Kazbegi surroundings - Gudauri.
Today we will visit Kazbegi surroundings. From centre, we drive by 4x4 cars through beautiful valleys and woodlands to visit Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. You may observe one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Then drive back to Gudauri. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gudauri - Tbilisi.
Today we will visit Kazbegi surroundings. From centre, we drive by 4x4 cars through beautiful valleys and woodlands to visit Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. You may observe one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Then drive back to Gudauri. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tbilisi – Tskaltubo.
Today we drive to Kutaisi. Excursion in the city. Drive to Tskaltubo, balneological centre. Overnight in Tskaltubo near Kutaisi.

Day 8: Tskaltubo – Tbilisi.
Today excursion in Prometheus cave which is one of Georgia’s natural wonders, providing visitors with breathtaking examples of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers, and lakes. Then drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight in the capital.

Day 9: Tbilisi - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi.
After breakfast, drive to Uplistsikhe, "the lord's fortress", which is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. Built on a high rocky left bank of Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the 2nd ML BC to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures. In the evening, drive to Tbilisi.

Day 10: Tbilisi.
Have free day in Tbilisi for shopping.
Breakfast and overnight at the hotel

Day 11: Tbilisi departure.
Transfer to Tbilisi airport. Departure
